Day 11- Last Books You Read

These are the last 8 books I’ve read.

I think it’s obvious of what my brain can handle in my current state of life.

(We’re just gonna go ahead and call this one book, since there wasn’t more than a half a second between closing the last page of one book and opening the first page of the next.)

** Note- I’m fully aware of how poorly written the above-mentioned books are, and the writer inside of me cringed more than once. But the woman inside of me overlooked those indecencies. For the sake of the other indecencies.

Books I want to read:

- Night Circus
- Gone Girl (again. I didn’t make it past the first 30 pages, but will reattempt!)
- The two latest Jodi Picoult books (I’ve read all of hers up til then.)
- Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson
- Anything by Jen Lancaster
- Silver Linings Playbook

What did you last read? If you tell me Pillars of the Earth, then I need the number of your therapist. Because, clearly, you have your shit together.

Link up over at Fabulous Finds by Tiffany.

  1. I just finished The Night Circus, and I'm currently reading Francona. In the queue are the last 2 Jen Lancaster books. ;)

  2. Memarie Lane March 11, 2013

Pillars of the Earth is a big wad of sap, nothing deep or philosophical about it. It's all romance, sex, and architecture. You couldn't pay me to read most of the books you've listed here, I'm sorry to say. :P I'm reading through the works of Elizabeth Gaskell right now, which was the sap of its day.

  3. Heather @ Kraus House Mom March 11, 2013

I need to get Brandi's book. I am a huge Housewives junkie.

  4. Tami March 11, 2013

:) I'm a huge fan of all things medieval so I have read The Pillars of the Earth and World Without End - and watched the BBC mini series because I'm a freak like that! Just opened my amazon wish list to add some books to my queue... must get the holiday. I love family drama I mean humor.

  5. Paula March 11, 2013

I think I need to read the holiday humor also. See if I can top it with my own!

  6. Laura March 11, 2013

I desperately want to read "Let's Pretend This Never Happened". I've heard it's awesome!

  7. Erica March 11, 2013

I also read Where We Belong. Emily Giffin is one of my favorite authors. I would love to read the Pinterest Savvy book as well as the Better off without him. I love books that I can just read without having to really think too much. I'm definitely a chick lit kind of girl. Good list!! :)
